Such an enchanting experience today at Stuti Weaves in Banaras! The beautiful and very welcoming Vandana Singh and her lovely staff were so wonderful to us traveling all the way from the USA to learn the history of silk sarees. Some of the most beautiful women in the world are right here in this lovely shop. We were presented with jasmine floral necklaces, delicious tea and kulfi! Vandana graciously told us that sarees always tell a story. They are true works of art. Most of the influence is nature and architecture. Sarees are passed down from generation to generation as blessings. I was so proud to purchase a lovely silk saree that I cannot wait to pass down to my own daughter someday! Vandana’s first name means prayer which makes a lot of sense as so many of my prayers were answered when I entered her shop today. Such exquisitely beautiful silk sarees at this business! It will be impossible not to take one home with you!🩷
