Grey Leaf Motif Pure Kora Silk Handloom Banarsi Dupatta
A grey Banarasi dupatta in sheer Kora silk, drawn over with leaf motifs woven thread-by-thread across the field. The motifs, anchal and border are all woven in zari — the border framing the dupatta in a clean worked line and the anchal carrying the leaves in a fuller arrangement. Handwoven in Varanasi on a traditional pit loom.
Kora silk holds zari with a soft transparency that gives every motif room to breathe — the cloth is sheer enough to read what lies behind it, and the leaves sit on the surface like worked detail rather than printed ornament. The Kadhua patience that builds each leaf on its own weft is exactly what places the dupatta in the luxury register.
Styling Note
Throw over an ivory, deep-green or charcoal kurta-set, or layer over a plain silk saree as a second drape. Pair with chand bali earrings and a single fine gold chain.

Caring for Your Handloom
A handloom dupatta is not just worn — it is preserved, rested, and cared for over time.
After wearing, allow the dupatta to settle gently. Dry clean only, so the weave, colour, and zari remain protected. When storing, wrap it in a soft muslin cloth and keep it in a dry place. Zari is delicate and responds to changes in weather; the muslin helps the textile breathe while keeping the weave stable.
Avoid spraying perfume directly onto the dupatta, as fragrance and alcohol can affect the fabric and zari. Every few months, open it out and let it air naturally for a while — a small ritual that allows the weave to breathe and helps the dupatta stay beautiful for years.
