Pale Pink & Orange Handloom Banarasi Stole
A Banarasi stole in pale pink and orange, woven in Katan silk with densely packed Tanchoi motifs carried evenly across the field. The two tones sit close on the spectrum, and the satin ground lets the motif rhythm hold the eye. The motifs, anchal and border are all woven in zari — the pattern runs unbroken to the selvedge. Handwoven in Varanasi on a traditional pit loom.
Tanchoi is one of the most disciplined Banarasi techniques: the motif sits within the satin ground rather than on top of it. That integration is what gives the textile its lustre and its easy hand, and what makes a true Tanchoi unmistakable.
Styling Note
Wear it as a long, loose drape over a coordinated kurta in blush, peach or ivory. Pair with kundan studs or fine gold hoops; let the stole stay the centre of the look.

Caring for Your Handloom
A handloom stole is not just worn — it is preserved, rested, and cared for over time.
After wearing, allow the stole to settle gently. Dry clean only, so the weave, colour, and zari remain protected. When storing, wrap it in a soft muslin cloth and keep it in a dry place. Zari is delicate and responds to changes in weather; the muslin helps the textile breathe while keeping the weave stable.
Avoid spraying perfume directly onto the stole, as fragrance and alcohol can affect the fabric and zari. Every few months, open it out and let it air naturally for a while — a small ritual that allows the weave to breathe and helps the stole stay beautiful for years.
