Beige & Pink Silk Handloom Banarasi Stole
A handwoven Banarasi Katan silk stole in beige and pink, woven in the satin-faced Tanchoi tradition. The motifs, anchal and border are all woven in zari, with a refined Tanchoi composition running across the length of the stole. Handwoven in Varanasi on a traditional pit loom.
The two-tone palette of beige and pink is what makes this stole versatile — Tanchoi's smooth satin face holds both colours cleanly, and the zari work threads through both grounds without choosing between them. Banarasi at this scale is still Banarasi: the same patience, the same loom precision, on a more wearable canvas.
Styling Note
Wears beautifully draped over a beige or contrast pink outfit. Pair with rose-gold studs, a delicate clutch, and minimal hair to let the gradient lead.

Caring for Your Handloom
A handloom stole is not just worn — it is preserved, rested, and cared for over time.
After wearing, allow the stole to settle gently. Dry clean only, so the weave, colour, and zari remain protected. When storing, wrap it in a soft muslin cloth and keep it in a dry place. Zari is delicate and responds to changes in weather; the muslin helps the textile breathe while keeping the weave stable.
Avoid spraying perfume directly onto the stole, as fragrance and alcohol can affect the fabric and zari. Every few months, open it out and let it air naturally for a while — a small ritual that allows the weave to breathe and helps the stole stay beautiful for years.
