Peach Kadhua Pure Katan Silk Handloom Banarsi Fabric Thaan
A handwoven Banarasi Katan silk fabric thaan in soft peach, with thread-by-thread Kadhua motifs setting the rhythm of the composition. The motifs, anchal and border are all woven in zari, with each placement built into the cloth by hand. Handwoven in Varanasi on a traditional pit loom.
Peach is a colour that wears its zari quietly — gold and silver read warm against the soft pink-orange register without overpowering it. The Kadhua technique here builds every motif thread by thread; the luxury of the fabric is in the patience of the placement, ready for whichever piece you commission from it.
Styling Note
Cuts beautifully into a saree blouse, a kurta panel, or contrast lehenga inserts. Pair with antique-gold detailing or a contrast cream lining to anchor the peach.

Caring for Your Handloom
A handloom textile is not just worn — it is preserved, rested, and cared for over time.
After handling, allow the fabric to settle gently. Dry clean only, so the weave, colour, and zari remain protected. When storing, wrap it in a soft muslin cloth and keep it in a dry place. Zari is delicate and responds to changes in weather; the muslin helps the textile breathe while keeping the weave stable.
Avoid spraying perfume directly onto the fabric, as fragrance and alcohol can affect the silk and zari. Every few months, open it out and let it air naturally for a while — a small ritual that allows the weave to breathe and helps the fabric stay beautiful for years.
